Butch Cut
BUTCH CUT started in 2015 and has inspired many other queer barbers since. It is a queer self-care and community building art project, that has intentionally flown under the mainstream-radar for many years, but it has left its mark as the connective tissue between different parts of the the queer, trans, non-binary, sober and neurodiverse communities in Berlin over the past decade.
The space is sensory-aware, meaning there’s no loud music and artificial smells are avoided as much as possible. The space is wheel chair accessible via a mobile ramp. It’s best to send an email if you’re planning to come in a wheelchair, so we can arrange access to the bathroom. If you have other access needs, please let us know. There are soli-cuts available.
